Testing Overview
As a way of providing a testing overview, let’s first understand how testing works The Life Change Group. We offer a wide variety of psychological testing, including psycho-educational, educational, bariatric, ADHD, behavioral, psychological, reading assessment, and intelligence testing. Dr. Pamela Wright, the founder and clinical director, leads and supervises the psychological testing and educational testing practice.
She has been a Georgia-licensed psychologist for more than a decade and guides our team in administering and evaluating clients from age six through adult on the most widely recommended tests. The most commonly used tests include the TOVA, WAIS, WISC and IQ tests, among others. Typically we don’t test children younger than six because they often are not verbal enough to generate a significant test result.
Whether you are seeking testing to apply for accommodations at school or work, or to assess a potential learning disability, our testing team members are the right specialists to meet your psychological testing and educational testing needs. We provide all the testing materials, have a proven and streamlined process and are able to quickly generate an evaluation.
In the following pages we explain the reasons for testing and what happens during an actual testing procedure. For more information on testing basics and the background on some of the most popular tests, please see our article titled “How Psychological Testing Works“.
