About Meredith Lord, LPC
Meredith Lord has been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2010. She earned her master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Georgia State University. She has enjoyed working with clients in various settings, most recently with patients and families in a hospital setting.
As a practitioner, Meredith utilizes many tools such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Self-Compassion techniques relieve stress and anxiety. These techniques are also useful to assist clients to recognize limiting beliefs that present as obstacles to moving forward and ultimately change. Meredith provides a safe, accepting environment for her clients while empowering them to put their new beliefs into action, let go of the past and move forward in freedom and wholeness. Others have said Meredith’s insightfulness and compassion make it easy for them to share. She has an ease about her that is inviting and comforting.
Meredith’s passion is to help people become the person they want to be. “Many people know where they want to go but they just don’t know how to get there. Sometimes life can be overwhelming and confusing. In the midst of life circumstances identifying solutions can be difficult. Being able to move forward into wholeness is never out of reach!” Utilizing the treatment goals the client has set; her desire is to provide her clients the tools and strategies to do so.
