Kaitlin Jeter, Style & Approach
One of Kaitlin’s favorite ways to help usher in healing for children and families is using Play Therapy. Play Therapy is a form of psychotherapy that utilizes play as a medium for children to express their emotions, process experiences, and develop coping mechanisms.
Kaitlin uses the language of play, metaphor, and her vibrant personality to create safe spaces for children to work through their hard experiences. She employs attachment-based work to strengthen parent-child relationships, and focuses on strengthening the parent dyad to bring deeper change to the family system.
When working with couples, Kaitlin often helps clients to reflect on patterns and dynamics from their first families to identify underlying attachment wounding and open opportunities for systemic healing. Her desire is to develop strong, therapeutic relationships with all her clients through her own authentic engagement, curiosity, empathy, respect, and humor.
