Andrea Adams, LPC
Biography
Andrea Adams is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia. She works with adolescents, adults, couples and families who present with various mental health issues.
Role as Counselor
She has spent many years working with individuals and their families dealing with the effects of alcohol and drug addiction. Andrea believes that each and every person holds inside themselves the ability to effect change in their own lives. Andrea feels her role as a counselor is to help her clients realize that ability. She is especially committed to helping young women become the best version of themselves regardless of the obstacles they face.
Education
Andrea received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Georgia State University and worked in marketing for several years before answering the call into counseling ministry. She earned her Master’s degree in Community Counseling from Columbus State University in Georgia and has worked tirelessly in the field of counseling ever since.
Andrea is also the author of the biblically based self-help book for teenage girls titled, “If We Were Girlfriends, This is What I’d Tell You.” She has conducted countless workshops on healthy versus unhealthy relationships and spoken on various topics at women’s conferences, luncheons and prayer breakfasts.
