Finding your true purpose and passion are hard to do. It’s something that we talk about a lot at The Life Change Group, both with my colleagues and our clients.

Years ago when I was teaching a Master’s level class, I had an older gentleman walk into class. He was tired of the career he had pursued for so many years and decided to change his life and focus on something he WANTED to do. So many times people come up with excuses and rationalize it all away. They might say “it’s too late” or “I’m too old”. But those are often just ways of avoiding the next step and not reaching out. The truth is, it’s never too late. Sure your passions and purpose may change over time, but you can always keep looking up and reaching out.

C.S. Lewis once wrote, “You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.”

Sometimes along the way we are fortunate to learn what we DON’T want to do, so we can move forward and find what we DO want to do. My hope for you, is that you endure and find the strength and determination to keep striving to find your true purpose.
