About Stress & Anxiety
Stress is everywhere, but most is manageable. A big meeting at work, a test at school or meeting someone special for the first time. These may cause momentary stress, but individuals with anxiety disorders suffer from chronic and relentless suffering. Plus it can grow progressively worse if not treated. There are several types of anxiety, including: panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, PTSD, social phobia or generalized anxiety disorder.
Our experience in treating all of these forms of stress and anxiety indicate that one of the most effective forms of treatment is a special kind of psychotherapy called CBT, or cognitive behavioral therapy. We effort to work with you and your support group to create coping mechanisms.
